Awards
Each year, we present three awards to athletes, reporters, volunteers, and others who have made special contributions to athletics in Summit County, Ohio and beyond.
Phil Dietrich Senior Athlete Award
The Phil Dietrich Senior Athlete Award is presented to an individual 55 years of age or older who has represented Summit County, Ohio as a Senior Champion; been part of a Championship Team; or achieved an individual honor in a recognized senior sports activity on a state, national, or international level.
Andy Palich Memorial Service Award
The Andy Palich Memorial Service Award is presented to a non-athlete who has made a major contribution to the betterment of athletics on a county, state, or national level.
Ed Kalail Volunteer Award
The Ed Kalail Volunteer Award is presented to an individual who has supported athletics in Summit County through volunteer work.
